Membership Information
Membership is open to all persons without regard to age, sex or country of origin.
The Society has three membership levels based solely on the beach location:
Regional - in your local city, county, parish, state or province
National - anywhere in your home country
International - throughout the world
Applicants may apply for membership at any level. Adventurous travelers may wish to hold a membership in all three levels.
Joint memberships (two persons or more) are permitted provided that all application requirements are met.

BEACH
|
The admirable beach must show BOTH the land (sand, pebbles, coral or shells) AND water. Applicants submitting a picture featuring only one of the components will be disqualified unless they have an excellent story to share.

SHERLOCK HOLMES
|
The image of Sherlock Holmes must be immediately obvious in the photograph. A lapel pin would not be immediately obvious, but might be acceptable if the picture were composed so that the image of Sherlock Holmes was obvious. A silhouette image, suitable for travel, is available with each application.

APPLICANT
|
Applicants must be wearing apparel (clothing is NOT optional).

Application Fee
U S. $10.00, payable in U.S. currency or by check to “Beverly Ellis.”
You must submit a separate application and fee for each level of membership: Regional, National or International.
